(...i suoni analogici, anche se trattatati in modo piuttosto radicale, mantengono il loro calore e le sensazioni sono dirette, percepibili a pelle...È evidente fin dai saliscendi ritmici (ed emotivi) dell’iniziale Opuntia, ma è Chacruna che sbanca con un passo decisamente rock pesante e rumoroso che non lascia indifferenti. Più avanti Tonburi si fa notare per i toni ombrosi e quasi timidi, Myris e Kava per le diverse interpretazioni del tema “ambient”, pianistico la prima, sintetica e disturbato la seconda, l’ottima Virola per l’exploit danzabile che rimanda indietro di un paio di decenni e segna l’altro picco di questa cassetta...) (...analogico e digitale danno vita a suoni corposi ed imprevedibili, impreziositi da suggestivi field recordings. L’introduttiva Opuntia ricorda molto le colonne sonore ad intermittenza dei videogames, mentre tracce come Tilia e Virola tessono insolite trame a sfondo dance, meno accentuate nella seconda. Chacruna, uno dei pezzi più interessanti della cassetta, assesta colpi a ripetizione con le sue esplosioni “crash’n’roll”, che fanno da apripista alle commistioni allucinogene di Ereriba. Avanguardie glitch fanno capolino in Tonburi, spalleggiando le basse frequenze di Myris e le ansie oscure di Kava...) (www.frastuoni.it)
